Why the need of Migration ? : As a part of the Quality assurance policy our services are regularly upgraded to meet the Industry standards & to protect the servers from any possible sign of crashes/downtimes. Since hard drive of the servers are mechanical devices hence there is a time frame of upgrading the hardware the moment it reaches its 3 years running phase. Maintenance Impact: As a result of this move, you should expect the sites to be down during a significant portion of the above noted maintenance windows.

Actual amounts of downtime will vary from site to site due to the large number of sites we would be migrating.

We would be providing an exact time frame in next 24 hours, along with that our resellers are to be required to change the IP's for your DNS Service as these would be changed as well. Please check the instruction set that would be followed in the next mail.

Communications Plan: Our helpdesk will be fully functional and staffed during the migrations. We will also be posting periodic updates in the announcements section to keep you fully informed of the status of all migrations. Please do not use our emergency contact numbers during the migration, as this will just slow our work.

We would like to inform you that the scheduled migration of our Windows 2003 server was completed successfully. The server is activated but there are some issues regarding DNS propagation due to which your sites may not open for a while. We are working on the problem and hopefully the issues will be resolved within 2-3 hours.

We shall update appropriately as soon as all the issues are resolved. Expecting your kind co-operation as always.
