Dear Clients,
Greetings from TechnoDG...
We have always accorded highest priority to security. In line with this, there are a couple of updates related to the Online Payment Gateways (PG) we would like to share and ensure that you are ready for them.
Payment Council International, a standards and certification body for Credit and Debit cards and Reserve Bank of India, had mandated that all payments should be accepted from browsers that support Transport Layer Security (TLS) v 1.1 and 1.2. Deadline as issued by PCI for this is 30th June 2018. In line with this requirement, the PG have been ensuring that their platforms and servers are geared for this and have been ready since the last two years. Further, the PG would be discontinuing the support for browsers that support older versions of security protocols i.e. SSL and TLS v. 1.0 from June 10th, 2018. This would impact the following browsers:
We would request you to please ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of the browsers and are initiating payments from the new browsers that support TLS v 1.1 and v1.2 onwards, else payment page will not open if redirected from your website on the browsers mentioned above.
Further, RBI has a released an advisory dated 16th April 2018 to notify banks to gear up for implementing encryption and other security technologies in their net banking interfaces by July 31st, 2018. All the online payment gateway API integration needs to be upgraded to the latest and secured versions provided by the PG since the support of old integrations will be discontinued post May 31st, 2018.
TechnoDG is already in process of upgrading the existing systems and payment integrations ans shall keep you posted on the same.
Please feel free to contact us for any further clarifications or assistance. We shall be happy to assist you.
