Migration of Polarbear Server on April 29, 2012 [Updated]
Dear Clients,
This is to inform you that we would be migrating our Linux Server "POLARBEAR" to our most advanced & heavy duty servers with the following configuration:
Old Server Name: POLARBEAR.DNSRACKS.COM
New Server Name: POLARBEAR.DNSRACKS.COM
# New Server Configuration:
Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor
16 - 32 GB RAM
2 X 1 TB SATA II HDD
DAILY/WEEKLY backups
CENTOS
Cpanel/WHM
We'll be migrating all resellers and customers on the new servers. Please find below the details of the migration schedule.
Migration Date: April 29, 2012
Migration Time: The migration would start at April 29 , 2012, 10 PM IST (GMT 5.30 +) and should be completed within 3 days.
Scope of Work: All users accounts/mailboxes/db's and package information would be copied to the new server during this process. All reseller packages & settings would be copied and migrated as it is on the new server.
Effect of Work: During the migration we have scheduled everything to offer zero downtime to all our customers
