DDoS attack on Windows Server [Updated]

Dear Clients,

Yesterday Night the Windows OWL Server was attacked by a so called DDoS attack. This means that a lot of computers are making lots of requests to overflow the server and making it unavailable to the rest of the internet.

The problem of a DDoS attack is that you don't know who, what or why the attack is taking place (The server itself has not been compromised).

There is also not much you can do to stop it right away but we are working on a permanent solution and implemented CISCO guard on server. Cisco guard is a temporary traffic filtering agent in the event of a DDOS attack. The CISCO guard is blocking the IP addresses and this process will take almost 3 - 6 hours. In this phase you can find slow response of your websites.

We do regret any inconvenience this may caused and during this process, your patience in this matter is highly appreciated.
